Superman’s widow dies of Lung Cancer…

Dana Reeve, longtime wife of the late Christopher Reeves, died Monday morning after a 6 month battle with lung cancer. Reeve was diagnosed with the disease in October and vowed to “beat the odds and defy every statistic the doctors could throw at her”. Unfortunately, her battle came to end at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Medical Center late Monday. She is survived by a thirteen year old son and two grown step-children. |

This is so sad and proves how life really isn’t fair. I feel so bad for their young son.
Just a note…it said on abcnews.com that she found out in August she had cancer, not October…
I feel terrible for their son, he’s so young to have lost both his parents like that.
That family has gone through so much in the past few years. Life really isn’t fair.
I pray for their children every day!!!!
She and her husband were an inspirational couple. I wish she had won her battle with cancer. I am sure however that she went to great length to ensure her son will grow up knowing how special his parents were.
