Joaquin Phoenix in a car accident.. Golden Globe winner, Joaquin Phoenix was involved in a serious car accident in the Hollywood Hills earlier today. Us Weekly is reporting that Phoenix’s car flipped over after the car’s brakes ‘went out’. Luckily, no one was injured.
