Rosario Dawson, star of the upcoming film version of “Rent” sits down with Marie Claire to talk about her upcoming movie and her philanthropic work with children affected by Aids.
Tell me how excited you are about “Rent” coming to the movies! Yes I know that the Broadway snobs are all haughty taughty about ’spoiling’ a good thing..but finally we get to see this musical sensation on the big screen! I can’t wait! Yes..I like musicals..no I’m not a gay man…just a girl with big dreams of being on broadway..(haha..not really).

i am soo friggin excited about RENT!! its gonna be rad; my sister (who does theater in san diego) introduced me to RENT a little more than a year ago… for christmas she got me the disc set.. and i can just picture her and me singing ‘light my candle’ in the movie theater… i cant wait.
