i don’t think he really tries to be eccentric, i really think he’s just actually a few fries short of a happy meal (but in a good way).

he is one of the if not the most talented actor in today’s popular movies. he adapts increidbly well to every movie role he plays. He is so captivating on stage, just look at Willy Wonka, he’s amazing, you may think he’s over-acting in a way but if you’re read the book he’s EXACTLY what he’s supossed to be. If you think he’s eccentric in a lot of his roles LOOK AT THE DIRECTORS he works with Tim Burton so much that the roles he plays for Burton are bound to be eccentric because Burton himself is an eccentric man.
