Just days before the MTV Video Music Awards, Mariah Carey’s home was involved in a house fire! The pop diva apparently was too sound asleep to realize that her house was ablaze. |
| Luckily, neighbors saw the small fire and contacted 911. Mimi was then awakened by the firefighters, who kindly (and most willingly) carried her out of the burning home. There was no major damage to the house, the fire was extinguished quickly. Wouldn’t it have been funny if the firefighters sang a rap to wake her up: Pardon me that was totally lame…it’s late and my comedy is running dry. |
